Features of the personalised cube
Since its invention in 1975, the cube has not lost its popularity. Its high difficulty and engaging nature make it a successful logic challenge. Today, records have been set, such as solving the puzzle cube in less than a minute or with your eyes closed. Yet, it must be said, the solution is not at all easy. If you are a fan of this game, you will love the
Customised 3D Puzzle , as it brings a refreshing and different touch to the well-known coloured cube.
Our cube has a standard size of 5.5 cm. On each of its six sides, you can print a different photograph, text or logo. The cube is made of lightweight plastic, making it easier to handle. The recipient receives the cube with all the sides in the correct order. Then they can decide whether to leave the cube as received or mix the sides and try to solve them.
It depends on the pictures you use, but a custom cube is generally
more difficult to solve than a coloured cube. After all, each square in this design is unique and has a specific place in the cube for the picture to make sense, which is not so important in the classic cube, where 9 squares share the same colour on each side.
How to customise a cube?
Customising the cube is fairly easy because you have a
preview of your model at all times.
Each side of the cube has an independent design button with its corresponding template. You must click on each design button to design each specific side of the cube.
When you start the design, you will have a preview of the 9 individual boxes clearly marked and with the dividers marked so you can frame your image as you wish. You can place your photo or drawing and move it around, shrink it or enlarge it until it is as you want exactly.
You can also add
text or a background colour. In the case of text, you must consider the separations marked between each box so that no letters are cut off. The best thing to do is to enter a word in each box to see the complete design.
How to solve a puzzle cube?
Now comes the million-dollar question, how do you solve the cube? Experts say that solving a cube is easy if you always follow the same system of moves, and the same goes for the custom cube.
The
steps to follow are as follows:
1. Create a cross on the top side with squares of the same colour or squares that share the same image.
2. Complete the top face with the rest of the colour or picture. In this step, some of the side faces should already be solved.
3. Complete the top two rows of the sides. In this step, only the last row remains to be solved.
4. Form a cross, following the procedure of the first step, with the same colour or squares of the same picture.
5. Complete the last corners of the last face of the cube.
The theory sounds complicated. But if you practise with your cube, it will become much more evident. Keep in mind that if you skip any of the steps, you will have to start from the beginning, so be patient. No one said solving a cube was easy!
Who will love this gift?
The great thing about this gift is that it is suitable for all ages. For older people, it's a great way to exercise their memory and prevent degenerative diseases. Adults will be delighted to be reminded of the toys of their childhood. And for the youngest, they can enjoy hours of entertainment without using a console or mobile phone.
The cube is a great way to practice skills, such as reasoning, memory, logic and patience. Plus, if you combine all those hours of fun with the ability to customise it to your liking, the result is a perfect gift for all tastes and with huge sentimental value.
